Our aim is to provide meaningful outlets for dogs through scent work, whether that is Barn Hunt or passive search activities. Our Foundation classes, along with the follow-on programmes, are designed to give owners the education and skill set they need to give their dogs the best possible start and to continue supporting them through the more challenging stages, such as adolescence. Our one-to-one sessions are tailored to support owners when they are experiencing struggles, with a strong focus on behaviour modification and practical strategies to improve day-to-day life.

I started dog training after I had been dog walking for several years and realised I needed to improve my knowledge after I caught the dog bug. That was 12 years ago and I completed my studies with the Institute of Modern Dog Training and carried on from there.

Over the years I’ve competed in flyball, agility, competitive obedience, hoopers and most recently scent work.

I am now in the process of qualifying as a clinical animal behaviourist.

Susan Malcom

Most of my working life has been spent with dogs, I spent 35 years working as a guide and hearing dog trainer. When I needed some help to deal with some behaviour issues with my own poodles I went to Linda and having overcome those issues, caught the bug of working with pet dogs and behaviour modification.

I started to shadow Linda and work towards taking training classes at Coastal K9. I now cover the UK side of the one to one training, Barn Hunt and am progressing towards more and more in depth Scentwork qualifications.
